Works perfectly, just as described. It goes into standby when you lift your cup. It has auto turn off. It has a high and medium heat setting and fits even the largest of cups! You can heat a candle on it as well. All around Perfect!

I wonder why it has taken me so long to order the coffee warmer plate like this. Wow! What an experience! I can leisurely enio my hot coffee while working on projects without rushing through it. What a difference! From my personal experience, it may be a little higher price than the $9 ones but it works so well. The morning coffee stays hot till the last drop in the frigid temperatures outside. Of course I stay indoor.

This has changed the game. I use this everyday and do not know what I did before it, well I was just drinking cold coffee. Has a nice long cord (5'). Has two temperatures and it's easily turned on, off and easy to change temperatures by a simple touch. It keeps my coffee hot to the last drop, seriously. I'm very happy with this warmer. I use it with my pour-over coffee set up. My pour over makes enough for me to have two cups of coffee each morning, but without a warmer I have to microwave the second cup. This warmer fits my carafe perfectly and keeps my second cup nice and hot until I'm ready to drink it. The red light is the hot setting and the blue is warm. I pretty much only use the red light setting. The button is very responsive and comes on with the lightest touch. Also, it does have an automatic shut off feature for when I don't have the second cup because I got busy and forgot about it.

Does it work with any coffee mug, or are certain materials recommended?

- We recommend using enamel, glass, or stainless steel mugs for the most efficient heat conduction. Ceramic mugs also work well but may not reach the same temperature as a flat-bottomed mug.

- Please avoid using insulated or double-wall mugs, as they may not be detected by the warmer's sensor. Additionally, plastic or paper mugs are not suitable due to their poor heat conduction.
